MSPCA will attend an open day at the Gozo Experiemtal Farm organised by the Minsitry for Gozo during which we will be re-launching our dog neutering campaign for Gozo which will focus on intensifying efforts to reduce unwanted dogs and puppies in Gozo.

The MSPCA has started a new educational project in 2019 which reaches out to expecting parents and their extended families, to reduce the number of pets given up unnecessarily, reduce the number of pet related injuries to children and educate about the ease of preventing zoonotic disease, while also focusing on how children can benefit from developing around pets.

Sessions may be booked through ParentCraft Services at Mater Dei Hospital and are free of charge.

MSPCA is attending the Higher Secondary School NGO fair ion Naxxar. Students can find out about volunteering opportunities with MSPCA as well as how to become a supporter for animal welfare.

MSPCA is attending the fair in order to help expecting couples plan for their new arrival without causing their pet to feel abandoned or become a problem, but also to guide parents on how animals can be beneficial to children's health and character formation.
